Los Angeles Family Photographer

Saundra is a long time friend of mine and she wanted to get her family together for a big, "Kardashian" Family holiday photo. Well, without the Kardashian support staff we were left breathless trying to cajole kids (and adults!) into smiling for the camera. So, in the end we left with great photos of the kids and are still working on one image that will rival the Kardashians!

Riley was just one month old and since she was the most  cooperative (mostly because she was sleeping!), she had the most photos taken!

You may remember Stephen from that great Santa Monica shoot last winter. This year, him and his family were blessed with a little angel of there own, Rebecca. We shot at the Los Angeles Science Center's Rose Garden at USC and at just 6 months, Rebecca sure is a cutie! Enjoy!

Pt. Mugu Maternity Shoot | Michelle & Co.

Michelle and I have been best friends since the 7th grade; I guess that this then makes us old, since here I am posting about her toddler and second pregnancy. She is truly glowing and surrounded by Bill and Marcus, who wouldn't be? Recently having relocated back to SoCal, we opted for a beach shoot at Pt. Mugu, a great destination for those readers looking for a bit more privacy on the water. I feel like a proud Mom writing this, but doesn't she look beautiful? We all can only hope to be that hot when we are preggos! Enjoy a few snaps from our shoot.

Santa Monica Family Portraits | The Browns

Billy and I go way back to the early days of high school when our mutual buddies were "going out."  Remember the days when that happened, before cell phones and tablets? We actually had pagers, believe it or not!


It is always a delight and pleasure to shoot friends from the past and the Browns were no exception. Olivia was delicious, attitude and all {really, check out the hands on the hip pose!} and Mariko made parenting look easy, though she confessed that her and Billy were a "good actors."  Can you tell? I can't! Enjoy a few snaps from our shoot during my minisessions in Santa Monica this past weekend. 

Santa Monica Maternity Shoot | Rick & Vibet

Your first friend in life is usually your sibling and being an only child from a BIG extended family, my first friend was my cousin, Vibet. We are just three months apart, though you could never tell because I was always a head taller than her. We share very fond memories of childhood like weekly trips to the swap meet, dollar store and/or outlet malls {what can I say, Filipinos really know how to shop!} and swimming from dusk till dawn. We did like most California kids did, carrying on in true rascal fashion! Those memories seem very recent though they are now footprints in the sand. 


In just about a month, Rick and Vibet will welcome Baby D, a mini me, into their lives and I will become a ninang for the very first time. It's hard to believe since Vibet is still an admitted Hello Kitty fanatic herself, but with her swelling belly, all we can do is await their little girl with excitement!
