Allow me to Reintroduce Myself
I have been anxiously waiting for this day for many months and feel so proud that it is finally here, just as I imagined it. The new site is natural, timeless and bold, a mirror image of my photography. If you haven't had a chance to visit it, please visit my new blog here.
When I began this outrageous pursuit of becoming a photographer four years ago, I had no idea where that dream would take me. I was full of hopes and dreams but short on time, hustling the days away with my many jobs {secretly daydreaming of a career as a creative}. Today, I feel so fortunate that my photography enables chance encounters with new friends, in a mutual pursuit of timeless photographs. And it brings me no greater pleasure than to document our living history... together. Becoming the go-to Story Teller Extraordinaire when I “grew up” was always a dream. And now, here I am, all “grown up” and operating coast-to-coast to boot. SWOON!
If you are reading this post, pleasure to meet you and always feel welcome to a visit (both literally and figuratively). For all my beloved clients of yesteryear, thank you for choosing my aesthetic to be one we share. There is nothing more redeeming than your referrals, especially for those who have been with me since the very beginning. I liken having clients like you, who “fit” like the snug-as-a-glove LBD, with my family. A big, heartfelt thank you for being part of this family.
There are a handful of people with big thank you’s in order: Yeri Yun Designs {web & graphic design, constant camaraderie}; Pixel Motives {web design & coding genius}; Spinach Pie Production {video production, blink stopping guru}; and Enhance Your Style {video styling & chisme supporter}. Stephanie Badini, my mentor and friend, anointing you de facto portfolio consultant was worth the best bottle of wine in my bar! As a team living all over the country, we began this re brand process last July {2012} and the launch of this site certainly comes with it’s dose of bitter sweetness. I like to think of myself as an “easy client,” but I bet everyone says that! If you or anyone you know is pondering a re brand, these players are all “musts.”
Enjoy the new site and in the name of social media, pass it on! {NEW BLOG}
With Enormous Gratitude, Ilene
