Vermont Wedding | Chiara & Creighton

Chiara and Creighton were married earlier this fall, under the fall foliage of beautiful, albeit rainy!, Vermont. It was a true family affair from start to finish with delicious, locally sourced food and decor. Creighton, who grew up on a farm near Saratoga Springs, had much of the decor brought from his home... talk about personal! And Chiara, well, she dreamed of a Vermont wedding since she was just a young girl vacationing there with her childhood neighbors. A little rain couldn't hold Chiara and Creighton down as they proceeded with a very intimate, indoor ceremony officiated by David, their future brother-in-law. He was a total hoot!

The bride and groom danced a beautiful waltz to Emmy Rossum's All I Ask of You from The Phantom of the Opera. Few couples could pull of something so classy, yet Chiara and Creighton danced as if no one was looking, with complete poise and grace. Two major highlights from the evening: 1.) the couple's faces during the Hora and 2.) Granny vying for a spot during the bouquet toss.

As a photographer, the best advice I can give couples is to allow ample time to shoot portraits of just the two of you. In most cases, your wedding day is a flurry for all parties involved, though Chiara made the portrait time a priority and when you scroll down, you'll see why!

Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Randall!

With much love, Ilene
