Head shots are not really my forte but with the ongoing influx of Groupon clients and their varying needs, I am certainly broadening my skill set. Alisa, an aspiring actress, needed some new head shots. She mentioned that she always looks "angry" in photos and that she's actually not so comfortable in front of the camera. I mean, really, Alisa?! If anything, your head shots prove that you are a superb actress!

Central Park Children's Portraits | Samuel
If you follow my work, you know I am a kid - lover! I work hard to bring out the best in them and to capture the small nuances that make them, well, them! I feel so privileged when families invite me to document such intimate moments and Samuel here, is no exception. We had a short but eventful romp in Central Park a few weeks ago. Enjoy.

Fort Tyron Park Engagement Photos | David & Eliora
Remember Chiara & Creighton's ah - mazing Hudson River shoot last fall? Well, Eliora, her sister, also a bride-to-be, came out to Fort Tyron Park for spring engagement photos. I mean, what a pair! Photo - friendly muses are hard to come by and David and Eliora carried on as if I wasn't even there. THANK YOU!
This couple has a unique story, which, they explained, had everything to do with their chosen outfits. Childhood friends who turned the corner together into full fledged romance, Eliora and David remember dancing at David's Bar Mitzvah in nearly the same outfits they chose for their engagement shoot. Love like this is a rarity and it was a treat to shoot these two. Taking the plunge in May 2013, the lovebirds have plenty of time to plan their nuptials and enjoy the ride. Congrats to Eliora & David!

Central Park Family Portraits | The Cimmiyottis
When I moved here nearly a decade ago, Alex was one of my only college friends living in the City, with a year under her belt. The world was ours and I'm certain neither of us imagined being where we are today --- all grown up, adults, if you will. Back then, we were just two California girls living it up in the Big Apple.
Alex and Jason have been supporters of my business since the very beginning when I took the leap three years ago. It goes without saying, they are close friends who will be truly missed with their upcoming move to the Bay Area.
The proud parents wanted a shoot to commemorate their years spent on the Upper Westside and of course, when the tide changed for good and Pablito entered their lives. Pablo is simply perfect! Congratulations to Alex, Jason and Pablo on their move "home."
