Central Park Family Portraits: The Hatcher Family

Last week I had the great honor of shooting the Hatcher family in Central Park, visiting all the way from Knoxville, Tennessee. They were in town for a short visit and happened upon my Groupon offer. Lucky for them, the stars aligned and we moved forward with a shoot. The littlest Hatchers are completely edible, don't you agree!?

Anytime | Mattie & Andrea in the West Village

Alas, the Groupon offer of 2011 is coming to a close and Mattie happened to squeeze in a fun friend shoot with her long time buddy, Andrea, just in time. Having grown up in the West Village, Mattie wanted something fun and easy so we opted for Lite Choice soft serve, some snaps in front of a wall mural and the quick to-do at one of their favorite watering holes, the infamous Benny's Burritos. 

High Line Family Portraits | The Negronis

Christine was previously a student in a class I assisted at ICP and when she saw my Groupon late last summer, she jumped on it! What a pleasure to connect with her and her family again; Gabriella and Samantha are real pistols and were a ton of fun to document on the High Line. Daniel and Christine have a little one on the way so I am looking forward to documenting the Negroni brood as it grows. Enjoy their infectious smiles!

2nd Anniversary Shoot | Scott & Fio in the West Village

On the eve here of my 100th booked shoot and it's no wonder these last few weeks have been a time of deep reflection. This "career" is something I always dreamed of and am finally realizing. Most important though, is that It's a true labor of love, especially when my clients become friends and we work together time and again. After all, clients are inviting us photogs to document the most intimate relationships in their lives! Scott and Fiorella are really no exception here. They came to me about a year ago through Groupon for their One Year Anniversary Shoot in Central Park. Those images were stunners, but wait until you see their newest photos! 

When clients trust me as the expert, it is a win - win situation. I suggested an evening shoot and we got to the West Village just in time for the Golden Hour, my absolute favorite time of day to shoot. Scott and Fiorella are beautiful people on the inside out and genuinely, some of my favorite clients.
