Central Park Family Portraits | The Chao Family

Central Park seems like a popular photo destination these past few months. No one can deny it's iconic nature, especially with delicious little faces like these! The Chao family was a ton of fun to shoot, especially the littlest ones! One trick I've learned photographing children is that a little snack goes a long way!

Central Park Maternity Shoot | Lisa & Frank

Lisa and Frank were spending their "babymoon" here in the City when Frank happened to find my deal on Groupon. He thought he'd surprise Lisa with an impromptu shoot in the park to document their trip and also, their baby who is on it's way!

Upper Eastside Portraits | Eric

Eric and I met over the summer through mutual friends and immediately hit it off, the way fellow entrepreneurs usually do. He recently launched his own marketing consulting firm specializing in wine & liquor, food & travel and needed some portraits for his new website. We had a ton of fun styling a friend's Upper Eastside courtyard for some urban chic photos. Look for the launch of the website itself!

Erika & Donald's Harlem Renaissance Wedding | Sneak Peak

You have got to remember Erika & Donald from their Vintage Harlem Engagement Shoot earlier this year. Yup, that amazing couple. Well I couldn't wait to publish some images from their wedding, shot at the illustrious Peabody Hotel in Memphis, TN this past weekend. The pictures are ah-mazing and here's a little taste of what's to come.

Congrats Erika & Donald!

Harlem Pier Portraits | Warner Williams

When Warner spotted one of his buddies in my Faces of Harlem Project, he immediately reached out to me to schedule his own head shots.

Hailing from Cincinnati and in search of the perfect role to keep him in the Big Apple, Warner left it up to me to decide where to shoot. I had been *dying* to shoot at the newly developed West Harlem Pier along the Hudson River. So that is exactly where we met and we had a great time, even under stormy skies!

Hudson River Engagement Photos | Creighton & Chiara

Don't they sound famous? Creighton & Chiara?!

Chiara's sister, Eliora, surprised her by gifting Chiara an engagement session with me a couple weeks ago. I had been dying to shoot on the new and revamped park along the Hudson River & 72nd St. Fortunately Chiara and Creighton left choosing a locale up to yours truly.

The happy couple, to be married on a Vermont farm next fall, traveled to the City all the way from Buffalo for Eliora's (Chiara's sister) surprise engagement the following day. I suppose it was all in the stars for it truly was a weekend of surprises! I feel very fortunate to have been a part of documenting this special time for Chiara and Creighton. Congrats you two!

Central Park Family Portraits | Matt, Meghan & Marin

I joined Matt, Meghan and Marin on the Upper Westside of Central Park near their current residence. After almost a decade in the City, Matt and Meghan are saying farewell and wanted to commemorate their NYC days with some family portraits in some of Central Park's most recognizable monuments.

Sneak Peak | Chris & Kate's Mt. Gulian Wedding

Remember Chris & Kate's Fort Greene engagement party over the summer? Well, here they are, now happily married after a beautiful wedding weekend in Beacon, NY. Here's a sneak peak of their first look, where Griff makes another cameo!

New York City Family Portraits | Joe, Filloreta & Paolo

Joe, Filloreta & Paolo were a delight to shoot last week in midtown Manhattan. Due to inclement weather, Filloreta suggested shooting at their midtown residence in lieu of our original location, Bryant Park. That was a GREAT idea! As you can see, the rooftop of their building overlooks the East River, UN and Empire State Building. Lucky Paolo!, who was ecstatic to be outdoors, exploring what the day had to offer. Isn't he just the cutest? I felt tickled by his excitement on my arrival when he crawled, in giggly delight, up to my footsteps and then looked up to smile at me. Paolo, you're the best! And the smartest! When asked in Italian, how old he is, Paolo knows to hold up one finger. Watch out Mom & Dad, Paolo's going to break a lot of hearts.
