Alisha & Adeel in Central Park

Alisha contacted me earlier in the summer to redeem her Groupon for some portraits in Central Park. Adeel, her +1, agreed to come along for fun but was such a great sport, he got into a few frames! I absolutely love shooting couples who have infectious, positive energy. And that, this lovely couple did! 

Keeping my fingers crossed on receiving the call from Alisha about a new fixture on her finger soon! 

Three - Generation Family Portraits in Battery Park City

After a month off the grid I am back and exited to share this summer family shoot in Battery Park City. My first shoot in Battery Park City and I discovered what an ideal spot  it is for children and families. There is so much diversity in this area with a beautiful parkway along the Hudson to cobblestone, residential streets. Emma, a girl with an infectious laugh below, was entertaining for all of us and filled with smiles!

Priya in Central Park!

There is not much to say about Priya, who is a total doll! She's my kind of girl; one who knows what they want and how to get it! Watch out Mom and Dad! Priya's gonna cause a lot of heart breaks!

Twins! | Nini and Arabella in Central Park

I know all my West Coast readers are dying with the multiple features on Central Park but the park itself measures 6 miles so I'm constantly rediscovering where my clients lunch and play. 


Jahara has twins, Arabella (boots) & Nini (balloon) and I tip my hat to her! Boy! I am trained to work with children and I could hardly catch my breath shooting these little rascals.... parenting twins is one amazing feat. Despite how fast the girls scooted, we managed to capture a handful of wonderful photos in a meadow near the twins' home. Nini and Arabella have their own distinct personalities, check 'em out below! Note to self: bubbles and balloons go a long way! 

Carl Schurz Park Family Portraits | The Allens

The Allen Family chose their local Carl Schurz Park {a new favorite for me!} for some early morning Family Portraits. I love Charlie --- he's a pro at having his picture taken, looking directly into the camera and showing off his dimples. What a cutie!

Engaged! | Rosie & Leon in Central Park

Already married now, Leon and Rosie opted for some romantic sunset engagement photos at inconic Bethesda Fountain in Central Park. I LOVE to see and shoot couples who light up around each other and this couple hit the nail on the head! Leon and Rosie perform in the same Gospel group and had an infectious passion and energy for one another. You can tell, take a peak to see if you agree!
