Central Park Family Portraits | The Fattorusos

Shooting in Central Park  through the seasons is a delight, being from California where there is only warmer and warmer. Gustav, an amazing 2 year old was dreamy to shoot and the buck doesn't stop there! Eva made parenting seem like a breeze with her easy way around the park with Gustav. Look at those baby blues, who wouldn't melt at first sight?!

Harlem Arts Festival 2012

I've been a little MIA on the blogging circuit as of late, mostly due to a very busy event season but most importantly, due to preparations for the inaugural Harlem Arts Festival. I was thrilled to be invited last month, though the offer left little time to prepare! ACK!

If you're reading, please SAVE - THE - DATE for Saturday June 30, 2012 from 1 - 8pm in Mt. Morris Park. My studio will be represented and featuring my current project, Faces of Harlem, with a pop-up-gallery, pop-up-studio {yes, yes you can get your photo taken here!!!}, and book sale.

Stay tuned for more information on the festival, but for now, check out my promo postcard... you'll have to come by to scoop one up!

Central Park Family Portraits | The Totejas

It's no secret that I am a fan of the Harlem Meer. But what I do enjoy more than shooting in Central Park North, however, is when I get children who are notorious for frowns to turn them upside-down!

DUMBO Family Portraits | The Riveras

There are some shoots where I just connect with the client and the rest they say, is history. The Rivera Family was super easy in front of the camera and had a great sense of humor about our DUMBO shoot. Needless to say, their images came our flawless! They wanted urban - chic and that's exactly what they got.

Head Shots | Alisa

Head shots are not really my forte but with the ongoing influx of Groupon clients and their varying needs, I am certainly broadening my skill set. Alisa, an aspiring actress, needed some new head shots. She mentioned that she always looks "angry" in photos  and that she's actually not so comfortable in front of the camera. I mean, really, Alisa?! If anything, your head shots prove that you are a superb actress!

Harlem Meer Family Portraits | Saafa's 1st Birthday

Birthdays are special, and first birthdays even more so. Saafa is the apple of her parent's eye and despite being a tired birthday girl, she was an awfully cute one!
