Fort Tryon Family Portraits | Watfa, Peiton and Noah

The fall in Fort Tryon Park is a dreamy location for a photog, and I return there as an alternative to Central Park, time and again. Watfa and her two munchkins were game for my suggestion and we topped our shoot off with an ice cream, which put a smile on everyone's face. Enjoy!

Fort Tyron Park Engagement Photos | David & Eliora

Remember Chiara & Creighton's ah - mazing Hudson River shoot last fall? Well, Eliora, her sister, also a bride-to-be, came out to Fort Tyron Park for spring engagement photos. I mean, what a pair! Photo - friendly muses are hard to come by and David and Eliora carried on as if I wasn't even there. THANK YOU!

This couple has a unique story, which, they explained, had everything to do with their chosen outfits. Childhood friends who turned the corner together into full fledged romance, Eliora and David remember dancing at David's Bar Mitzvah in nearly the same outfits they chose for their engagement shoot. Love like this is a rarity and it was a treat to shoot these two. Taking the plunge in May 2013, the lovebirds have plenty of time to plan their nuptials and enjoy the ride. Congrats to Eliora & David!

Fort Tyron Family Portraits | The LeRoy Family

I love Fort Tyron Park, not just because it's uptown but it is super photo friendly. WIth lovely vistas of the the Hudson and a beautiful, clean landscape, it's hard to beat. Enter Ben, Iva and little Alex who live in the area.

Turns out Ben grew up in a neighboring town from where I grew up and made his way to New York after college in the midwest. Iva, originally from Croatia, hardly looks as though she has had a baby! Great genes run in the family, since their little one, Alex, was such a doll and a delight for the camera! He's already a real flirt, so watch out ladies!

Cloister Family Portraits

Beautiful fall hues provided a seasonal landscape for the Mota Family shoot in the Fort Tryon Park and the Cloisters. The park had the most beautiful views of the Hudson River and I'm already planning my own shoot there next fall. The Mota's, well, as you can see, were a lot of fun and up for anything. It always feels special to be documenting lifelong New Yorkers and this lovely couple grew up nearby in the neighborhood and are now raising their son, Kai, there too.
