Fort Greene Baby Portraits | Baby Elise

I love meeting other Filipinos, especially on the East Coast, because I hail from California where they come a dime a dozen. For those of you who are not Filipino, you have no idea how we network; we find each other in grocery stores, parking lots, flea markets and hospitals and yes, we do always give each other special treatment. It is for this reason that I was elated to hear from Kristina and TJ, friends of my dear friend Alex, who are both Filipino and also from California.

Kristina & TJ are happy parents to newborn, Elise. She is scrumptious! We had a dandy time with Elise in her Fort Greene home over Labor Day weekend and like I always write, my job as photographer is a dream job. This statement is never more true than when clients turn into friends and Kristina and I are already exchanging our best Filipino recipes!

Congrats TJ & Kristina on your newest bundle of joy and I look forward to documenting your brood as it grows.

DUMBO Engagement Portraits | Alex & Amber

Alex and Amber are the kind of couple that make you laugh when you watch them together. They are naturally photogenic and easy with one another. In fact, I had visions of them growing old together, carrying on in the same, free - spirited fashion, during our DUMBO engagement session Labor Day weekend. They are kindred spirits and simply put, their love is that old fashion stuff of a generation past.

Alex, a native New Yorker and Amber, a transplant from the Pacific Northwest, met while in the Peace Corps in Thailand. *Dreamy*, I know! Their love survived the trials and tribulations of expat life and they've been back stateside (Brooklyn to be exact) for about a year now.

Congratulations, Amber & Alex on your engagement and the many beautiful stories you have yet to write.

Norma, Carmen & the Girls in the City!

A few weekends ago, Norma and her sister Carmen came on a girl's trip to the Big Apple all the way from Dallas. Like young ladies all around the world, they came to play for the weekend and luckily, Norma happened upon one of my studio's Groupons.

We had a great time traipsing around Midtown Manhattan, and since the chicas are oh-so-photogenic, it made my job all that much easier!

ENJOY!

Sneak Peak | Maudelyne & Edenson

A couple weeks back, I shot Maudelyne & Edenson's wedding in Queens. You might remember them from their Central Park Engagement. They both look stunning and blissfully happy together and I felt so privileged to document their special day.

More to come!

Central Park Anniversary Portraits | Scott & Fiorella

I love shooting couples that inspire me with their infectious love for one another. Scott and Fiorella did just that. They were married last Labor Day weekend at the Bronx Botanical Garden and wanted to celebrate one year of wedded bliss with portraits in Central Park's Conservatory Garden and nearby surroundings.

The sunset was jaw - dropping the evening we met and it never hurts to have beautiful subjects. In fact that makes my job much easier. Scott was such a gentleman and insisted on carrying my camera bag and I was truly impressed when they generously offered me a ride home too. Really, the evening was like catching up with old friends I hadn't seen in a while. That said, I hope this is just the beginning of many shoots together, Scott and Fiorella.

Congratulations on one year of marriage, Scott & Fiorella! May this be just the first chapter in your story together.

Prospect Park Family Portraits | Alex, Lynn & Leo

Alex, Lynn & Leo met up with me at 3rd Street Playground in Prospect Park last week to celebrate Leo's first birthday with some family portraits. We had to reschedule because of hurricane Irene and were lucky to bask in the first sunny day thereafter!

I was shocked to hear that Alex & Lynn had never had 'official' family portraits taken and I was feeling very honored to be charged with this duty. Leo is a total doll; we all agreed that he was flirting with me and it was definitely enough to make me look forward to shooting him again. His two little front teeth made my heart melt.

Happy 1st birthday, Leo!
